EHWA PLATFORM FOR SCHOOLS

The Emotional Health and Wellbeing Platform for High Schools is designed to provide instant access to young people in crisis as well as their friends, parents and carers.

The platform provides instant access to a wealth of information and resources for people seeking help and is designed to be easily accessed from a smartphone.

Tailored to each school it contains direct links to local mental health professionals, medical centres and youth groups as well as national and state-wide helplines and the option to access immediate help during a crisis. This makes it effortless for students or parents to gain the right information and help, when they need it.

The ‘I'm worried about someone else’ feature provides information to students and their friends, parents and carers about how to help others with their mental health. Easily customised to each school, it contains direct links to local mental health professionals, medical centres and youth groups as well as national/state wide helplines and the option to access immediate help during crisis.

Statistics show that 91% of teenagers have ready access to a smartphone, so this platform is readily available to young people from all walks of life. Students with no smartphone that have access to a computer will also be able to use the platform.

We are constantly striving to be a fantastic resource for schools, and we are always on the look for new information, resources and links to add to the platform. Due to the substantial impact of Covid-19 we believe that our platform is more important now than ever before.
